From 19 to 22 March 2024, took place the third edition of the Sustainability Week in the sign of Governance, an activity promoted by Confindustria Veneto Est. We are pleased to announce that since last September 2023 we are part of the CVE sustainability group and we share with the 76 member companies the importance of carrying out and spreading best practices in terms of sustainable development within the territory.
The concept of sustainability is increasingly a subject of great attention and investment and translates into a strong commitment of the entire community to reduce its impact on the Planet, to promote social and economic welfare. Specific social, environmental and governance parameters are at the heart of all business strategies and contribute to assessing the environmental impact of a company. Sustainability is not only promoting actions to mitigate the impact on the environment ecosystem, but includes inclusiveness, the removal of social barriers, gender equality, the creation of business organizations that guarantee their durability.
The member companies of this group, that aim to become sustainable, must complete specific assessments such as:
- Annual sustainability report
- LCA or Carbon Footprint analysis
- Adopt the 231 model and obtain the Legality Rating
- Achieve ISO certifications related to ESG issues
- Transformation into a benefit company or B-Corp certification
Support the meeting and dialogue between all the subjects belonging to our territory as companies, schools, universities, start-up and Public Administration is fundamental to achieve together the objectives set and is part of the activities promoted by Confindustria Veneto Est.
With this in mind, IMESA will host on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at its headquarters in Cessalto (TV) the group of its membership with which it shares the path for the years 2023-2024. During the visit IMESA will present itself and its path in the ESG world and to follow there will be moments of discussion and exchange of views on the results to date and on the continuation of the path.
Respect and quality are the key words of this path; respect for natural resources, for man and quality of life in respect of the environment. We believe, we invest daily resources and ideas to become an example and a reference for our territory and beyond.
