Startup and Industry, this is the Luciano Miotto Award

Let’s talk about innovative start up, technological innovation and research: what is the link with IMESA SpA and ASAC Srl?
Enterprise and research, entrepreneurs and youth, are indispensable in the world of work and increasingly fundamental to the achievement of competitive goals and IMESA has made its own feature.

In this context, the Luciano Miotto Award established in 2018 in memory of Luciano Miotto, entrepreneur of the Venetian territory, always careful to technological innovation and the search for new solutions, who, first with his father Gianpietro and then with his brother Carlo, led IMESA and ASAC to be the established entrepreneurial realities of today.

The award established by the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso and Belluno together with the company t2i (technology transfer and innovation), rewards the most innovative startup by assigning it a free virtual incubation year at the Incubator Certificate t2i.

The award aims to give the opportunity to young innovators to grow their idea, to turn it into a real business project.

From this year the award is part of the Open Innovation Day of the Group Young Entrepreneurs of Assindustria Venetocentro, giving a strong signal of the importance of bringing companies already structured to new innovation projects.

The 2020 award was won by Stageair based in Padua, whose founder is the young Anita Da Ros of Vittorio Veneto.
The Stageair platform promotes an innovative digital solution to support the pathways of integration of youth into the labour market as well as facilitating the reintegration of women and job-seekers, giving priority to an alternating approach, international training and work experience.

The symbolic award presentation took place during the online ceremony by Alessia Miotto, daughter of Luciano and vice president of IMESA Spa.
